Introduction - Co Tan An Temple

Co Temple (Co Tan An Temple) is situated on the right bank of the Red River in Tan An 2 Village, Bao Ha Commune, Lao Cai Province. The temple stands amidst a picturesque landscape featuring a terrain "embraced by mountains and encircled by water"—a configuration considered auspicious in traditional feng shui, symbolizing the accumulation of vital energy, the preservation of blessings, and enduring stability. On the opposite (left) bank of the Red River lies the Bao Ha Temple—a National Historical and Cultural Relic dedicated to the national hero Hoang Bay.
